All About Me
Ioana Faur is a dually licensed acupuncturist in the state of New York and Connecticut and a National Board Certified by NCCAOM. Ioana graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the University of Bridgeport. During her studies, she completed an extensive number of hours of clinical training as well as Eastern and Western medicine courses.
Listening carefully to her patients’ needs is the roadmap Ioana uses to find the root cause of conditions to be able to choose the best possible treatment.
She believes that many ailments can be traced back to an emotional imbalance and possible traumas that were not properly processed. Her approach to healing is addressing the mind, body and spirit connection.
Ioana completed her Reiki Master in 2017 and loves incorporating the reiki healing energy into her acupuncture treatments.
Ioana has successfully completed a Facial Rejuvenation certification taught by world-renowned acupuncturist Virginia Doran, an experienced international teacher and practitioner of Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture.
In her spare time, Ioana loves spending time in nature and hiking with her husband and their dog Saffron.
